Hello, am having issues in patching my Boot.img through Magisk... I got the boot.bin from Miracle Box backup of my current Phone (L9Plus-H8011A-N-180709V439) and rename to .IMG  So i decided to use [Hovatek] Mediatek Auto Philz Recovery Porter by Team Hovatek and [Hovatek] Mediatek Auto TWRP Recovery Porter  by Team Hovatek..... in order to flash Margisk.zip, but  the following are the errors i got from all the version of the above mentioned software...

DM_Verity Not Found. What can i do to patch both the boot.img and the recovery.img?

or should  upload and share the link to both here for an assistance to help patch them?

Thanks.

You only need to patch your boot.img.
Just download magisk manager app and install it.open app then tap install option (1st option which say magisk is not installed )and then choose patch boot option & select your boot.img.
Magisk will download necessary files and patch your boot.img automatically.
Flash this patched boot.img in your device

I know the process you listed above... I have done it before and it works, ...Its just not working on this new boot.img. It's fails anytime I try it on magisk .. .this is why am trying to flash the zip through costume recovery... Which leads to the error above.

ensure to try using latest magisk manager and try extracting / unpacking this boot.img of yours using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-15817.html
lets know if you're able to successfully unpack

also DM_verity isn't an error message, it just means you can proceed with flashing custom recovery without needing to patch boot

I used Magisk 7.1.1... I think that's the latest version.

I will try to unpack and repack the Boot.img today and get back.

Is there any way to get the boot.img directly without renaming the .bin of Miracle to .img?
