Yes the new also gives same dram error, so what happens now, is it revivable or needs hardware intervention to revive.

still at the software level. 
1. tell me more about the custom ROM you were using on the phone
2. when you connect the phone to PC, whats does device manager detect the phone as?

I was using a ported android 5.0
.png   ROM info.PNG (Size: 21.82 KB / Downloads: 5) however the creator has removed the ROM link http://kepharz.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/cu...no-m3.html the phone is detected as

The developer is an active member of this forum. His ROMs are great. We'll focus on the drivers aspect. Seems thats what it is.  have you tried using an XP PC
