Now when i plug it to my comp to flash other files, my comp reads the drivers as mtk usb port instead of mtk preloader usb port which makes it impossible to flash the other files. Please help.

Just do as X3non instructed. Question for you, could you list all the files in your MTK backup? wanna be sure you have all needed files
