[Please help] infinix zero 16gb invalid imei

i couldnt back up it before formatting it but sptools can detect the again since i left it for some hours and it charging but when trying to use sptools to flash it with the backup i downloaded here i got the sptool error 8038...need your help

thats a mismatch error. your phone might be j609. download the J609 replacement files @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-533.html

Av downloaded the j609 replacement files and I copied the preloaded.bin of j608 backup I first downloaded by got the same response bt nw tried to use the scatter file of the j609..after connecting my phone with the system got reply that sptool has stopped working but it think it j609 cut the scatter file is same with the one I did with mtk droid tools...since I got that reply my phone is temporarily dead and after some time it gonna come up...

i dont quite understand you. what exactly did you flash to the phone and whats its present condition?

After i leave the phone for somrtime i charged it and it power but with still the same problem of invalid imei and i think my sptools couldnt flash the backup i downloaded,,,,pls is there another way apart from sptools

thats an incorrect assumption. you got Null IMEI in the first place because you flashed a buggy custom ROM. you need to first flash the stock ROM before you begin fixing the Null IMEI. you've flashed the stock ROM, next is fixing the Null IMEI
Now, does the phone have baseband?

yes it have baseband but still yet it brings out invalid imei....
