(31-07-2019, 02:20 PM)X3non you dont need to discharge the battery in order to flash, infact you need the battery charged
you already have firmware for your build number the one labelled miracle box, so try this
download only scatter file from the factory / signed firmware @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-19383.html
copy it into the miracle backup then use sp flash tool to flash
lets know the outcome

I did exactly as instructed; downloaded only the scatter file from the factory / signed firmware, copied it to the firmware tagged "miracle box" and used sp flash tool to flash. I've attached a picture of the mismatch error message that popped up

(31-07-2019, 06:05 AM)Raopiplus First of all Don't Panic. Your phone is fine. It has entered meta-mode.
You can do either of two things to bring it back to life.
One hold volume+ button and connect to pc. Then  it will say phone is in meta mode. long press power to reboot. do it and you get back your phone
Else wait till battery is fully discharged. Then connect it to PC. with viacom preload drivers it will be recognised and then you can reload firmware.
Let me know how it goes

Thanks for your response,  the issue now is how I can discharge a 100% full battery. Do you have an idea how I can do that?

Just remove battery (if it is removable ) and try connecting to computer with volume-(down) button with proper drivers loaded. It should work.

Any response from computer when you connected (with Volume+ button with battery ) TO COMPUTER?

Yes, I've done that too, I removed the battery and reconnected the battery to my phone, then I pressed and hold the volume (pressed +ve and connected to laptop, and then -ve and connected to laptop; in different cases) button and connected to the computer, i only noticed that the driver appeared and disappeared faster on the device manager. Nothing changes with the phone

Hi, Finest. It doesn't seem like your drivers are bad.
In fact SP Flash tool is able to detect that the storage type in the firmware and that of your phone don't match.

Some people claimed using a lower version of SP Flash tool worked for them, particularly SPFt version 3.

Please try that with X3non's method and let's see how it goes.

I actually earlier tried to use a lower version of sp flash tool. Version 3.1316 to be precise,  I've retried it now again with X3non's method and I keep getting the same error message  immediately the scatter file is loaded.
Error: Initializing scatter failed...
Screenshot attached
Kindly give a link to another lower version for me to try with X3non's method, thanks .

Yes,  I also checked the fixes and this is what I get for that particular error

Initialize scatter failed
Message: Error: Initialize scatter file failed. Please check the scatter file name you load is legal
Meaning: SP Flash tool doesn't accept the name format of your scatter file
Solution
Ensure the scatter file wasn't renamed. If you're certain it wasn't, try a higher version of SP Flash tool

That's why I requested for another sp flash tool link to use because that version is the latest I can find on the sp flash tool version 3  list

must not necessarily be v3, you could try old v5 versions as well, also try
try flashing the miracle box firmware along with the scatter file from factory firmware using miracle box
try flashing the factory firmware using sp flash tool
let us know the outcome
