(10-12-2019, 11:34 AM)X3nonI have been able to install v1.4.3 which could not be installed before but i found out during installation it did not copy any file, it was 0 file copied result. could this be because of the older version that i installed that still have the files in adb folder on C? and moreover the latest binaries is not file that is installable. how do i extract this file? because is not in zip format. do i still need to change those files from the older version in Adb folder on C? Adb detects my devices because the popup appeared when i connected my device that ask if device should be allowed usb connection with pc of which i ticked always allow. I even installed lenovo assistance via the usb connection. both pc and device communicate. I see my device homepage screen display on my pc. Is there still additional thing that is required? thanks(09-12-2019, 09:19 PM)okychris but cmd error. I used adb device(s) for both results

so adb devices now detected your device without issue? if yes then you don't need to change anything else
if you still want to replace the adb and fastboot then extract the contents of the file you downloaded using 7zip software from 7zip.org
