Good morning everyone. 
I recently noticed that my Tecno L9 plus has been charging very slow (takes about 8 hours to get full charge), and doesn't connect to PC and OTG. 

So, I changed the charging port and the problem still persists. Now, I've been charging my device for the past 6 hours. Whenever I connect an OTG, it says connected successfully but won't be displayed in file manager. 
Also, anytime I connect to PC, it says the device malfunctioned and not detected. 

Please help me

did you change the charging port yourself or someone else did? ie can you confirm that the replacement is brand new and works on a different device?
have you confirmed that this OTG storage works fine on a different device?
have you tried a different battery / USB charger?

yeah exactly what is also wrong with my tecno l9 plus phone it charges very slow like 8 hours or even more and laptop can not detect it i tried 4 different laptop and otg is not working it only show connected.........please help

first look into d charger u r using.
1.use a direct charger and not the one with usb cable...it really helps for me
2.change the entire downboard....i can assure u it really works for me a lot

First i went to a charger shop and i tried all the direct charger you talked about but still charging slow.... What i notice is that the phone is detecting it as charging through usb instead of AC and what is downboard or are you trying to say motherboard or panel
