[Please help] [Fixed] [sc7731c]problems while porting TWRP recovery for Itel A13 plus
(20-08-2019, 01:05 PM)Rodriguez Ryan I want to thank hovatek team for helping me out with some stuff.Days ago I had some adb detection problem with my phone.I installed all the drivers, still my phone wasn't showing any promt for allowing adb.I have fixed it using kingRoot Pc.It forced my phone for the promt.
I also had problems with unlocking bootloader and solved it.Then rooted my phone with magisk, thanks to hovatek.
I'm back now with a new problem. It seems like TWRP AUTO PORTER for Spreadtrum by Osmosis that you shared isn't working for sp7731c Android 7.0 phones.
I have seen 10+ comments on hovatek forum with this issue.
Everything works fine from top to bottom.Like -
1)Putting stock recovery image on stock folder which I found which RDT.
2)Selecting my phones Android version,which is 7.0
Then I found a recovery on output folder (which should be custom TWRP) and a warning that says -
"DM variety found. You have to patch your boot image."
Which I think I have done already when I was using magisk right?
I checked the log and it says recovery was created successfully.
I flashed that recovery once using adb.It didn't work.It doesn't boot in recovery. It just shows a buggy screen of my bootlogo and than phone reboots.
So I flashed stock recovery again.Checked
It was working fine.
Came back to Research Tool.
Flashed the Custom Recovery again.Flash was a success but the result still same.
A messed up screen of my bootlogo and then phone reboots.
Any ideas whats happening?
I don't think TWRP was ported successfully.

Holy **** it worked!
My god can't believe this worked!
I just choose Android 6 in stead of 7 and now a clean nice TWRP for my phone!
A trillion thanks.
