i got the patched recovery but after flashing using fastboot mode, it still goes back to stock recovery.

is your phone rooted now?
try flashing custom recovery 3 consecutive times.

Provide the patched recovery (TWRP), stock recovery.img and stock boot.img

ps: probably your system has recovery-from-boot.p try to rename to recovery-from-boot.p-bak or deleted that file before flashing TWRP

you must root your device before you can rename or delete that file.

YES, PHONE IS NOW ROOTED... SHOULD THE FLASH BE CONSECUTIVELY FLASHED WITHOUT PUTTING THE PHONE ON OR SHOULD IT BE FLASHED REPEATEDLY WHILE OFF??
