I bought a 16gb memory card yesterday but when I copied somethings on the memory card and I reboot my phone, everything that I copied on it disappeared. kindly help me out on this please. Thank you in advance.

1. how exactly did you copy the files to the phone?
2. check the sd card's properties and let me know the total and free space stats

I used the normal way of copying and pasting free space=15.42gb total space=15.42

i assume you mean via USB cord.
do this
format the SD card (take note of any error messages and report this)
then send files using USB cord, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Downloading
let me know if any or none is retained in the SD card

I have done that but the problem is the same and is not showing any error message.

the SD card is defective then. you could try it on a low end phone just to see if it works fine there. if it were write protected then you should have got some kind of error
