My phone didn't get root access after flashing magisk_patched.img that I generated with magisk manager. But it worked the first time I tried it before my phone entered bootloop while trying to flash twrp. After I factory reset it, I flashed magisk_patched.img which was successful, but root checker indicated that my phone does not have root access. Cpuz on the other hand indicated root access. Pls help

this means you need to patch boot first before flashing the recovery
ensure that you have flashed magisk patched boot before attempting to flash the twrp

does any other apps detect root asides from these two you've mentioned?
check magisk manager > superuser >> ensure that root checker is on the list and that the checkbox beside root checker isn't disabled

Thanks, root checker now detects root access. Turns out magisk manager app was deleted when my phone was factory reset. All I did was reinstall it and boom, it worked. I'm going to try porting my stock recovery.img again with mtk auto twrp v1.4 , Hopefully DM_Verify won't be found again

I've flash the ported twrp to my phone without entering bootloop. But when I tried to enter recovery, the only thing I see was a blue screen with TeamWin boldly written and two arrows inside a white circle. The screen also blinks. Pls help

Attach screenshot of the twrp screen let’s see.
Also, you can try porting for a different android version then flash and see, say for example if your device is nougat then port for marshmallow.
