I purchased a M5 note M621H with a Flyme 6 version.
I downloaded a Flyme 7 version 7.1.0.0 from the http://forum.flymeos.com website

The phone said it was an International Version and different to the phone version.

It asked me to erase data and update.

Now the main screen only shows the Update System and Wipe Data option.

Unable to get the zip file to the root directory.

Please assist.

Thank you.

The situation now is that the phone cannot turn off.

It turns on and goes to the

Update System

and

Wipe Data

options only.

Update system

Copy the update.zip file to the root directory of your device

When I connect to the laptop via USB, it only shows a recovery drive of 1.2Gb size.

I don't how to get the zip file to the root directory.

If there's any ideas????

The device has non-removable battery. It is currently connected to an adapter to avoid the battery going to empty.

So do I let the battery run flat and then flash

it seems like you flashed a chinese firmware version, try flashing firmware for international version
here's flyme 7 android 7 for m621h @ http://dl-res.flymeos.com/Firmware/Flyme...update.zip
copy this zip into the recovery drive (1.2) you see when you connect the phone to the PC
then select firmwate update

I have copied the Zip file into the recovery drive.
Turned off and back on.
Pressed Start (Update system)

Firmware not found

Do I need to decompress the folder of recovery drive from the laptop?

Each time I disconnect and reconnect the phone to laptop, the recovery drive is always empty.

I found the SOLUTION!!!!

DO NOT RENAME THE ZIP FILE - Just leave it as update.zip

The phone would ONLY recognise update.zip and NOT any other name

Start with Flyme 7.0.0.0

It would then recognise the update to 7.1.0.0 while the phone is connected to Wifi

does this mean the phone is working properly now?
