I'm at a loss

I have patched boot image via magisk and on first attempt I only flashed this patched image via SP flash and successfully rooted my phone.

Used the phone for few hours and then used hovatek twrp Porter v1 and v1.2 still phone enters bootloop.

So I then flashed firmware again but I replaced boot image with the magisk one, after completing setup I see the phone is rooted as expected, unlocked bootloader and tried again but still only bootloop. Also flashing using download option I have lost 6gb internal storage.

Device: Leagoo M8 pro (basically exact copy of Kruger & Matz Flow 5 Plus)

Android Version: 7.0 (firmware of Kruger & Matz ). Original leagoo firmware was malware ridden.

I ran recovery image of Kruger & matz through Hovatek twrp Porter and it detected DM Verity and suggested to boot.img required patching which I have done already via magisk.

Thank you, this twrp version works.

I know this Hyperion, version I had it installed when using leagoo m8 pro official Marshmallow 6.0 Os. But since now on Noughat 7.0 with new kernel I didn't try it.

Was the kernel modified ?

Furthermore twrp  failed to repair partition so still missing 6 gigs internal storage.

yes, the kernel on this one is 3.18.35
also your lost storage space as i explained @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-313...#pid182675 isn't lost. you can use an app such as diskinfo from playstore to figure out how the 16GB storage is been utilized by your device
