Thank you so much!

I've applied the "get rid of the 5 seconds delay" and it works flawlessly.

However, I'm facing an issue that I believe is related. When my phone is turned off, if I plug it, I get a picture of a battery and the message about the orange state. Applying your patch got rid of that message, but my screen simply won't turn off.

Any idea what may cause this, or how could I fix it?

Okay bro, don't really  understand your reply but have you fixed the bootloop issue?? If yes then depending  on the method, did you use recovery.img or lk.bin to fix issue, if it recovery. img your phone should boot up immediately but if it your lk.bin you still have to flash recovery.img file and send a video or screenshot if possible

Hey,

Thanks for your answer.

My situation is as follows.

Original lk file

If I have the original lk file, that I can flash using
Code:

fastboot flash lk lk.img

lk.img being the official image, then at startup, I get the

Quote:Orange State

Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted..Your device will boot in 5 seconds

message that you describe. I'm not stuck in a bootloop: the device starts normally afterward.

However, I also get the same message when I charge my phone if it's turned off. I can't turn the screen off, it just displays a battery symbol, this message (even though it does not boot after 5 seconds, only if I press the on button), and that's it. I suspect it does not charge and I can't turn the screen off.

Your patch

I followed your patch: extracted the lk bin file (called lk.emmc.win in my case), replaced
Quote:7B 44 1B 68 1B 68 01 2B

with
Quote:08 B5 0E 4B 7B 44 1B 68 1B 68 01 2B

and flashed the edited file with

Quote:fastboot flash lk lk.emmc.win

fastboot flash lk2 lk.emmc.win

My phone works perfectly and I don't have the annoying notification at startup.

But even though I don't have the "Orange status" errror message when my phone switched off charges, I still have that battery icon and the screen can't be turned off.

Any idea how to address it?

Since
your patch actually helped (the message is not displayed along the battery icon), I thought that it was the right place to ask, but can open a new topic if that's better.
