(03-01-2020, 07:49 AM)Muhammad Auwal Tahir My original stock recovery image is around 30megabite but when I patched it with magisk it turns to a file just 11MB I think.. Is this safe, Will the flashing of patched boot reset the phone? and again do I need to unlock my bootloader again because I have locked it back.

the file was trimmed and all trailing 00s (empty section of the file) was removed, there's nothing wrong with that
flashing patched boot doesn't reset the phone, unlocking bootloader however does reset the phone
if your device allows for flashing modified images using sp flash tool, then there's no need to unlock bootloader

TWRP > reboot > power off then manually power on using the power key, the device boots straight back into twrp? if yes, then likely /system partition is corrupt
flash back system.img then retry booting into homescreen

I think I will just root using magisk and leave the twrp case since it always lead to data loss
