(16-07-2021, 01:22 PM)Bigfarthua Thanks
I saw that already.
But I was curious to know if there‘s fix with the battery level display so that I can use with AND without batteries without accessing the PC everytime to change the settings.

i hope you are aware that the OP was not referring to e5573? his device is e5577 if i recall and it's unlike e5573 which has no lcd. there's no display screen for e5573

I was not aware but I looked at his screenshots which show the WebUI.

Anyway, so this bug doesn‘t occur with e5573 (which I have)? Do you have the e5573 and the battery level display in the WebUI is working correctly when the battery is inserted?

I am only asking this because it‘s a bit difficult for me to access a windows computer at the moment, so I would only do it if it‘s worth it. hope you understand Wink
Thanks

it seems i missed this screenshot but i've seen it now you pointed it out, thought he was referring to the battery display on the lcd screen, e5573 also has this issue even when charging (the charging progress bar) the battery is still displayed as 100% on the webui

i understand you, if your battery works fine then maybe you don't need this
the guide is intended for those who have problematic battery e.g in my case swollen batteries. i'd rather not risk getting a new battery that might just end up swelling up more than the previous battery and if there's no battery in the device then there's no need to check the battery info
if you feel more comfortable with hardware then maybe you could replicate what was done @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-38775.html ; then you won't need to tamper with the software
