i've just noticed that vbmeta is somehow included within boot.img, probably the reason why everything custom fails since dm_verity is still active

try the command below using both your stock boot and magisk patched boot, let me know the outcome
Code:

fastboot –disable-verity flash boot boot.img
or
fastboot –disable-verity –disable-verification flash boot boot.img

I've tried that also didn't work
It's Saying unknown option d

I'll post screenshot later, system is down

while waiting on the screenshots, you can try the patch boots @ https://mega.nz/file/aWoAlawC#f0VEq50QbY...UCdkfCOC0M
empty-vbmeta : i've patched boot using magisk then hex replaced vbmeta to an empty on
mp : i've patched boot using magisk then hex joined the original vbmeta as it is and in both cases tried to keep the original file size of the both image
no guarantees that any will work though

Yes, i've seen the article a long while ago, it's no where close or related to what you're facing. we're currently trying to deal with dm_verity and magisk, the post talks about twrp on android 10

Now, on a regular device prebuilt with android 10 and without A/B partitions, they would have a physical boot, recovery and vbmeta partitions
your device has A/B (naturally there's no recovery partition as it resides in boot) and vbmeta is required on many android 9 devices upwards for integrity checking of certain partitions during boot, they included this vbmeta within the boot partition as vbmeta partition never existed on your device from its oreo origins.

It didn't work, instead or bricked the device

i just noticed there's an error in the disable-verification command i posted earlier on. remember that you're to try both of them using your stock boot.img first
Code:

fastboot --disable-verity flash boot boot.img
fastboot --disable-verity -disable-verification flash boot boot.img

meanwhile still don't understand what you said you've corrected, what happens when you try flashing either of the two boot images i sent using the two command above or using the regular fastboot command
Code:

fastboot flash boot boot.img
