I formatted all using Tecno tool so I may secure the bootloader once again but the sp tool says STATUS_SEC_AUTH_FILE_NEEDED (0xC0030013) and SoftwareDownload v4.1808 says A Connection failed! STATUS_SEC_AUTH_FILE_NEEDED[100%]

any solutions?

download factory firmware @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-25781.html
flash using V4.1811.23.11 @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23708.html

Flashed both backups and seems to make the baseband unknown and imei goes null, also when flashing using sp-tool the nvdata need a nvdata-verified.img file which says," it needs to disable verified boot"...

don't understand your first statement or question
for -verified, you can flash using fastboot or adb dd or a custom recovery such as twrp > install img

the nvdata flashed and works ( no service, single sim and low signal FIXED ) when oem is unlocked on device.

Let me lock oem,  re-write imei and do an ota update to see if it kills again the imei and baseband.

you can try a factory reset in recovery mode first before you lock the bootloader, if it doesn't wipe the imei then you're good
but if it does then you should flash both nvram & nvdata

(27-04-2020, 09:58 AM)X3non you can try a factory reset in recovery mode first before you lock the bootloader, if it doesn't wipe the imei then you're good

If I factory reset in recovery it wipes both imei and baseband, and when flashing nvram & nvdata it needs md1dsp and md1img to make both imei and baseband fixed ( but if flash nvram & nvdata it wipes all imei and baseband ). After flashing these 4 files ( nvdata, nvram, md1dsp and md1img ) it boot with someones imei so I lock the bootloader and write back the original imei's with META ver 10.1920.0.00 tool and works well.

OTA updates works well without wiping imei and baseband ( but if intend to wipe the device it clears the imei and baseband ).

so maybe if there is a way to make a signed/factory firmware with those files included except nvram it would solve the problem on spot.
