[Please help] [Self-solving] Teclast P80X Bricked
(14-05-2020, 12:51 PM)hovatek Both vbmeta and any image you intend to flash need to be signed else it'll get stuck in fastboot
see https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-32678.html but instead of patching & flashing recovery, patch boot using magisk canary sign it then flash
As for G5K1 vs G5K4, download both firmware but use the boot.img in G5K1 firmware first
Hi hovatek, thnks for reply,
i have downloaded the P80X(G5K1)_Android 9.0_V1.02 firmware from 4pda , i know it may be different from my installed firmware which is V1.00 but i cannot find any other firmware of it. By the way i followed the guide you posted, but i get stuck on here :
PS E:\teclast\pythonorign> adb reboot bootloader
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
PS E:\teclast\pythonorign> fastboot devices
58624711803963 fastboot
PS E:\teclast\pythonorign> fastboot flash recovery magisk_patched_recovery_signed.img
sending 'recovery' (40960 KB)...
OKAY [ 1.516s]
writing 'recovery'...
It stuck on writig 'recovery' and nothing else.
Im pretty sure im missing some important step, because other guy did it successfully. I am trying only to get root access using magisk canary and flash it in fastboot without installing twrp....
I tried with linux and windows... no luck even after i installed the drivers as in this guide [Tutorial] How to install Unisoc / Spreadtrum SPD USB drivers
