(14-06-2020, 11:11 AM)angello01 I used SWD version 4.1901.23.17 and version 4.1808.28.17. yes I have downloaded DA agent and tried to flash boot.img with Sp flash tool but it gives me ERROR STATUS SEC AUTH FILE NEEDED.

Sent from my TECNO CD7 using Hovatek Mobile

try using sp flash tool, the DA file for your model and the auth file for tecno f2 lte listed @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23243.html
tick and attempt to flash only boot.img

I did as you instructed, I was able to flash boot.img, preloader, recovery, but my phone is still not booting up, when I try to flash the whole rom, these image files always refuse to flash

tkv-verified.img
dtbo-verified.img
vbmeta_vendor-verified.img
super-verified.img

It always give me this error, ERROR: STATUS_SEC_IMG_TYPE_MISMATCH(0xC002002A)
[HINT]:
Verified boot is enabled,
Please download signed image(tkv-verified.img) or disable verified boot

what was the build number of your device before you attempted to root? and the build number of the firmware you flashed?
do you still get the red state error after flashing the files you were able to flash? if no then did you try factory resetting the phone in recovery mode?

Yes I flashed boot.img but still the same error this is my original build number CD7-H6214ABDE-Q-GL-200409V477 before flashing, and this is the build number I am trying to flash CD7-H6214AB-Q-200102V359 even after flashing those files, I still get the red state error.

doubt that firmware will work for your device
you can try flash the CD7-H6214ABDE-Q-GL-200515V508 build @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-32455.html
lets know the outcome

you flashed all files within the *-GL-* firmware successfully and factory reset in recovery mode? and the device still remains in red state bootloop?

as you would have noticed, the device won't accept non-verified images in certain partitions while using sp flash tool not unless bootloader is unlocked and fastboot is used for flashing

yeah. but since i can't boot to fastboot, does it mean there is no solution for now?

I sincerely appreciate your efforts and response, but since i can't access fastboot, is there no other way i can fix my phone?
