[Please help] VIVO Y83 (MT6765) StockROM, hardBrick, blankScreen, WrongPreloader
(15-06-2020, 10:10 AM)Y83Bricked Hello members,
i'm stuck in difficult situation.. i tried to flash VIVO_Y83(MT6765) (android 8.1) with STOCK ROM using (miracle thunder & SP Flash tool). I succeeded flashing stock rom (downgrading). i was happy but when i switched on my phone, display was black (for few hours it has shaky and distorted display where i can see welcome screen, it was untill i flashed it for first time)..
then i also searched internet.. i learn about no rollback feature(no downgrade possible, might be the reason) , bootloader .. etc....
after turning it ON I can't switch off my phone.. it was stuck on welcome screen with shaky display, So, i tried fashing with different updates of stock roms.. and when i turn it ON it shows only BLACK Display but i can click screenshot or adjust volume by using volume buttons and power buttons.. but the phone won't turn off.. everytime, i do it by removing battery manually..
One more thing.. i can flash the phone with spflash tool but with miracle thunder it shows "error0_0" while flashing.. I also came to know that when i tried to write perloader from stock rom using miracle thunder it says "BADFILE.. no write to phone" so, i tried to read the preloader file from the phone firmware and save it.. and use it to write and i got no error.. but phone was still stuck on BLACK SCREEN..
CAN ANYONE HELP ME FIX IT... i don't want to lose my phone..
i can also provide logs of miracle thunder..
P.S.- I forgot to create a firmware backup & it's a secure boot mediaTek device..

It’s an incompatible lk.bin issue. Refer to
Did you take note of the phone’s build no. before flashing the phone?
Can you get access to a working Vivo Y83?
(15-06-2020, 08:28 PM)Y83Bricked Firstly, thanks for replying.. @innagee
how do i fix ik.bin file? (it is named as "ik.img" in stock roms)
Yeah, i found the build number from miracle thunder log file... it's "id:O11019"
Unfortunately, due to covid-19 pandemic, i can't get an access to a working vivoY83
P.S.: i updated the problem with new observations of mine

build number for vivo will look something like this "*****_EX_A_1.11.14" or similar
if you can't find it then you'll need to look for a different firmware build to try flashing, first confirm the build number from the two firmware's you already tried flashing so you don't go downloading them again
also confirm properly that your device is y83 not y83 pro
(16-06-2020, 11:21 AM)X3noni remember that my phone build number before flashing any rom was either "PD1803BF_EX_A_1.20.5_vivo_mtk_alps-release-o1.mp6-pre4_mt6762" or "PD1803BF_EX_A_1.19.2_vivo_mtk_alps-release-o1.mp6-pre4_mt6762" ... i'm 100% sure because i matched the build number "PD1803BF" to download roms from vivofirmware.com(15-06-2020, 08:28 PM)Y83Bricked Firstly, thanks for replying.. @innagee

it does sound like you are sure which build your device had previously. try searching for that 1.19.2 firmware build and try flashing it
