How can i fix vivo y31 its stuck in 2G mode all other modes like 4G/3G mode are available i have tried to change to them but the mode remains the same E for edge i have tried to hard reset still the same problem At first i was getting an error that 'it is detected that sim card does not match the carrier supported by phone. It is suggested to change to china mobile 4G card'

is that a clone or an original vivo phone? 
Have you tried a different network carrier sim?

is that a clone or an original vivo phone? 
Have you tried a different network carrier sim?
what's the phone's build no.?

The phone is original yes i have tried change to another carrier and i have so far got two vivo phones doing the same thing
The build number is PD1505_A_1.16.1 its a snapdragon model

you should consider flashing at least nvram or complete firmware.
can you get access to a working device of your model?

Bro my model is a qualcomm one i even got the file from needrom but when i put the device in edl mode in device manger i get qualcomm hs 9006 instead of 9008 so i evn tried to backup the phone in miracle box but i get error can not connect to device

I have deleted and reinstalled the drivers and even changed ports am still getting 9006 instead of 9008

how did you boot the device to edl mode? i.e using button combo or tp?
you could try eMMC software download in QPST tool. see if it detects the phone while in 9006 mode and if it does then select "Switch device to DLoad"
