[Please help] Tecno Spark 2 won't boot
(29-08-2020, 11:49 AM)MuzomboJr So I flashed my Spark 2 a couple of days ago, but since then, it doesn't boot. When I connect the charger, the indicator lights up, but the screen stays black. I can't even boot into recovery mode. Now, SPFT won't even recognize it. Is there anything I can do to resurrect it?
(30-08-2020, 11:17 AM)hovatek Disconnect and reconnect the battery. Its probably stuck in flash mode. Refer to https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-808.htmlThe build I flashed was Tecno Spark 2 KA7O (KA7-H8024D-O-180615V104). That is its original build.
Do you recall its original build number (before flashing)?
Which build @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-24299.html did you just flash?

(31-08-2020, 02:47 PM)X3non if this is so then try disconnecting / reconnecting the battery as has been suggested a couple of times already, if the emmc is in good condition then the phone will power onI tried that but still nothing happened. Maybe I should just continue charging it ?

(01-09-2020, 09:23 AM)X3non just to confirm, you are certain that you disconnected the battery clip? not some other clip?So I took it to a repair shop, and I was told it needs some kind of power restoration, don't know what that is
if you disassembled the back cover and there's more than one clip, disconnect all unless you are absolutely sure of which one is the battery clip
if you've flashed the exact same build previously on the phone, disconnected / reconnected the battery clip, connected to a charging source and attempted to power on and the device still remains dead then the emmc chip of the device is faulty
