I've been try to revive my dead Tecno camon 11(cf7 Mt6739) for a long time now but I've hit a series of dead ends

***I flash the phone using sp flash tool (format+download) option***  which was successful but corrupted my preloader.bin and now my phone won't turn on.

***Tried flashing only preloader.bin again using SPFT but get BROM error status_brom_cmd_fail (0xC0060005)***  according to hovatek I need "custom DA" and I downloaded it from this forum but still didn't work

***when I connect the dead phone it reads as "Mediatek USB port (com 4)"***  and I have installed all necessary vcom drivers
But still connect as "Mediatek USB port (com 4)"

***In short my "preloader.bin" is damaged so it can't communicate with "vcom preloader"***  but as "Mediatek USB port" which I think is an emergency download mode(fail safe)

What do I do

do you remember the original build number of the device before you flashed?
was the flashing processing with format all + download successful with a green tick?
have you tried disconnecting / reconnecting the battery before attempting to reflash?

As far as I know I saw CF7-H399BCDEFH-O-181130V158 before in recovery mode but I don't know if it's build number or software version or are they the same
And as for the battery it is inbuilt or can I disconnect it with one of these

that's the build number of your device
https://www.hovatek.com/forum/attachment.php?aid=8189 ; the middle clip should be the battery but you can disconnect / reconnect all 3 just to sure

You'll need an auth file if you successfully formatted.
Flash with software download tool https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23709.html
use kb7j auth file here https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-23243.html
