(08-10-2020, 12:22 PM)X3non check the baidu link, it usually includes a flash tool for flash the firmware
you can try the DA files within the tool if available
I've downloaded from Baidu and tested DA files from the archive: there's no progress
The archive is packaged with MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin from 27/06/2015 and some MTK eFlashTool V2.4_DebugLog.exe which I only got to work by changing date to 11/02/2018; SPFT didn't work with the DA file, and with the exception of the errors -- S_FTHND_FILE_LOAD_FAIL (5008) & STATUS_SCATTER_FILE_INVALID (0xC0030001) -- which I fixed by moving DA file & scatter file (Wwr_MTK-generated & one from downloaded archive) to a common root dir with SPFT, there wasn't any difference at its way of working in past few days (since I started working on this device).
I tried the Readback option of the tool in archive, which by the way has a Chinese interface, and it also failed to read my phone.
Noticing the scatter file I generated and one in archive have different partition_size values for PRELOADER, I altered my readback parameter to 0x40000 and back to 0x80000 to no avail.

The archive will be available for two more days here (how I wish it wasn't a weekend, when Hovatek team is off the clock! Sad ), should you require it.
Temporary Archive link: AU
    Content:
        1 - Drivers
        2 - 3 Instructional images/screenshots
        3 - MTK eFlashTool V2.4_DebugLog.exe, MTK.bin, MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin
        4 - Images + some short Chinese write-up.
MT6737T Scatter file from archive:
.txt
MT6737T_Android_scatter.txt
Size: 9.18 KB / Downloads: 7

I'd root and start enjoying but for the risk I'd be taking, considering fact I cannot even read preloader from working device, and cannot be sure if I can write to the device either. SIM issue persists, by the way.

Same errors I've always had:
.png
PC1 S_COM_PORT_OPEN_FAIL (1013).png
Size: 14.07 KB / Downloads: 5
Error - S_COM_PORT_OPEN_FAIL (1013)
.png
PC 2 err 2004.png
Size: 32.93 KB / Downloads: 4
Error - S_BROM_DOWNLOAD_DA_FAIL (2004)

Don't have the shots for S_FTHND_FILE_LOAD_FAIL (5008)STATUS_SCATTER_FILE_INVALID (0xC0030001), and I couldn't re-make them. Terrible of me too, considering the former error cannot be found on the list.

This is what I got from testing with the DA files referenced (list is in order I tried each on different ports, with lengths 0x800000x40000):
  1. S11 - USB keeps reconnecting (ERROR 2004)
  2. M7 - USB keeps reconnecting (ERROR 2004)
  3. M6 Plus - USB takes some seconds before detecting phone (ERROR 1013)
  4. M6 - USB takes some seconds before detecting phone (ERROR 1013)
  5. F205 - USB takes some seconds before detecting phone (ERROR 1013)
  6. A1 - USB takes some seconds before detecting phone & gives two sounds (of conn. and disconn.) (ERROR 1013)

How did you root the device??

Meanwhile, I'm using mtk-su method temporarily for a few apps.

Even if you decided to take the risk and  root, you cant root the device since you cant backup, and you cant write to the phone, i tried writing to the device many times, with several tools, but it seems the phone needs da file.
