boot your phone into factory mode then connect to PC and launch MTK droid tools.

thanks for your help...really appreciate it ...what do you think I can do now ..bcos the adb is not listing my device and android composite ADB interface driver has been install for the device....cos it shows wheneva I plugged in my device ......pls help with the adb not listing my device

what exactly did you edit in build.prop?

I edited the sdk version from 16 to 17 and I increase the android version from 4.1.2 to 4.2.2

that doesnt upgrade your phone, just a build.prop edit
backup your boot.img and recovery.img using https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-526.html

When i connected the infinix x530 usb to my system then using MTK droid tools,This was the message i received

When i used adb command tools,i got this message

please any help with how to go around this problem to solve it,i will appreciate.
Seems Infinix x530 stock rom is hard to get cos have checked every forum online,Non have the stock rom.

Have solved the issue...my infinix x530 is working again. Am so happy ....

kindly make a backup of your phone using https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-468.html 
once done, zip the !files to flash folder and upload then drop the download link here
your backup could help other X530 users with bricked phones
