Hello everybody.

i really hope this is in the right section,as this is my first post here.

I have been searching allover the web and i guess that this is the best place to ask.

I have a device a launch car scanner called crp123E.

I am trying to gain access to it with USB
i want to unlock bootloader and gain root access..

THERE is officially NO usb on the device.

So here it what i did.

I took a usb cable took one end of.

4 cables revealed themself.
Red 5V +
White Data minus
Green Data plus
Black GND

I took the red wire soldered it to gold point vchg.
i took the white soldered it to DM
Took the green and soldered it to DP.
Black to GND.

Took it inserted it to pc error 43 (error with device descriptor failed << something along these lines)
I have tried with THOUSANDS of drivers and im pretty sure thats not me problem anymore
but my question to you is the following.

What should i try next?
Another driver i should try another system (linux?) instead of windows.

Could i use tx - rx instead to get the bootloader unlocked?

Looking forward to hear from you, if you need more info please ask.!

Glad to be part of this community.

I think you got the right points. try using tx rx also as suggested at https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-11836.html
What's the game plan by the way after you somehow get a USB connection?
