found some firmwares online most likely passworded
what's the present state of the phone? totally dead or stuck at boot or bootloop?
if totally dead, how exactly did it happen?
can you get access to another working phone of the same model?

I tried porting a rom one of my friends made, forgot to make backup and now it's dead. I've tried rebooting, removing the battery and some other stuff but it's still dead. I can't access anything including the recovery but fastboot works tho. And no I don't have access to a similar phone. Any help would be very much appreciated.

if fastboot works then your device isn't dead, thought you meant dead as in totally dead
also if you can't get access to a working phone then you'll be looking at getting the firmware from one of the possibly paid firmware links online

Actually, I've seen a site to download the firmware but it's encrypted and I don't want to pay for it or use any other paid sites out there. Can't I just flash a similar rom?

(24-11-2020, 08:46 PM)mac247 ...Can't I just flash a similar rom?

untested but could work
generic p35 pro seems to have the id of ALPS.L1.MP6.V2.19_HCT6580.WEG.A.L_P55
you could try flashing ONLY boot and system.img from firmwares within similar builds then factory reset in recovery and reboot then see if it boots to homescreen or not
you could search using the ID above, you should find a certain phoenixemer blogspot website with a list of firmwares with same build

you might want to take a firmware backup of your phone just incase you mistakenly flash more than just boot and system. see https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-13347.html OR https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21970.html

did you factory reset after flashing? if yes, then you'll just have to either keep trying more or look for the original p35 pro firmware

if you can't figure out how disassemble the back then it's best you take it to someone with proper tools / experience to assist you
