If you can disconnect the battery then that would be faster.
Its best to first find out your build number before making any flash attempt.
Once the phone boots up, we could also do a readback of the system partition to get the build info

Once it boots, you then flash using SP flash tool

I have a non-removable battery so can't follow the speed up advice. When I connect my phone to the pc, I just continuously hear the USB connect and disconnect sounds in a loop after a 3 second gap. The phone is still no booting or charging. I tried to flash phone in this state using SP Flash tool, it is giving me this error: STATUS_SEC_AUTH_FILE_NEEDED (0xC0030012). Where do I get the auth file for Tecno KC2. I had already loaded the DA file.

You sure about this because I heard somewhere that format all clear the IMEI of the device, and I still have a few months on my mobile warranty. If this is the only option then I will do it anyway.

UPDATE: I tried flashing the phone using the SWD tool (in download mode) and it WORKED!! My phone is now on and working. Thank you so much for your help @hovatek. Wish you a very happy 2021 in advance
