Recover Userdata
Recover Userdata
(16-12-2020, 05:43 PM)Akki_bt07 I am using redmi note5 pro phone, i accidentally changed the display cutout option to "double coutout" in developer mode, because of the changes that i made the phone is not working properly. The phone turns on but nothing is showing on the display, after couple of minutes phone boots in to recovery mode. And this cycle repeats again and again until the battery discharged.
USB debugging is enabled but it is unauthorized, so no luck in using adb platform tools.
Worst part is I don't have data backup of my device. Some one please tell me how do i recover the userdata or at least the whatsapp local chat backup.
I have tried both qpst tool and miracle thunder tool, i didn't get nothing useful out of these tools.
Any help is appreciated.
(17-12-2020, 03:26 PM)Akki_bt07 Device Bootloder is locked, and yes, i booted the device into edl mode using test points. I will try to flash system.img . But i have some queries regarding the same.
1) from where i will get system.img file for my device model?
2) how to flash single partition ?

You can get the system image from your device's firmware but hold on.

Did you mean Developer options? If yes then this is at the /userdata level not /system
I doubt this will work but no harm trying https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-26809.html
