I've been unable to get this to work on any Treble GSI Custom ROM. It always boot loops into fastboot once I flash the patched boot.img.
Reflashing the stock boot.img is the only way to get it boot again.
Is there a solution for this?
Magisk works perfectly fine on stock ROM.
Does anyone know of a method to get this to work or of a treble GSI custom rom (Android 10) that comes preinstalled with magisk?

Try magisk canary version. You should also try rooting via the recovery partition to see how that goes i.e patch recovery.img using magisk, flash patched recovery to recovery partition then attempt booting into recovery mode immediately. Check for root status on boot
