Realme 6s Red State
Realme 6s Red State
(05-01-2021, 11:33 AM)lampardrobi Hi!
I had gone and unlocked the bootloader and rooted my Realm 6s, to try it and see how it goes. After that though I wanted to go back to stock, so I locked the bootloader, but foolishly forgot to reflash the stock boot.img and vbmeta.img. So now my phone is stuck in Red State, and keeps rebooting every 5 seconds, and can't access Recovery Mode nor Fastboot mode, which requires the Bootloader to be unlocked. Naturally I went to google the issue, and found that I could flash the stock images I need with SP Flash Tool. So I tried that but I get an error message: ERROR: STATUS_BROM_CMD_FAIL (0x0060005), to which google gave me the answer that I need a custom DA file. My phone phone get recognised if I hold down Vol+ and Vol- at the same time while plugging in as MTK USB Port (COM6) and that's error message is as far as I got. I also had a look at the scatter file - of which I am using a generic MT6785 scatter, but it has different partition start addresses, so I opened the one from the stock roms ozip, and copied the addresses over from there to the generic. So I am stuck now. I will put some screenshots maybe that helps. Thank you for any help in advance.

You shouldn't be using a generic scatter file; you'll likely run into overlap errors. What you need is an SP flash tool scatter format firmware for your model; the scatter in the ozip won't cut it at all.
Apart from the scatter firmware, you'll need a DA file, don't hold buttons when connecting to PC

without the right DA file, you won't be able to flash using sp flash tool and seeing as da files for latest oppo / realme devices are not available, you are either looking at visiting a service center OR you could search for an ofp firmware, it usually includes an msm download tool for flashing (note that the tool requires an authorized id for flashing tool too)
(06-01-2021, 11:54 AM)lampardrobi I guess you are right. I've tried some other DA files maybe one would work but no luck so far. There is no way to generate these files is there? ...
(06-01-2021, 11:54 AM)lampardrobi ...In any case, I emailed some Authorised Realme Services, maybe on will be kind and send me a DA file I can use. Fingers crossed. I'll update once I get further.
Thanks for your replies. Have a good day.
