I used the "[Tutorial] How to fix qhsusb_bulk or qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008 brick" method to unbrick a HTC One M8, however I am unable to flash a RUU without error using fastboot/RUU or XTC2Clip. I did restore a stock OS via TWRP recovery and everything appeared to be working except sound and microphone.
I am only able to move between OS, bootloader and recovery with the mmcblk0.img SD Card inserted. If the SD Card is removed and any reboot action is done the phone returns to EDL mode.
Attached is a screenshot of an attempt to flash a stock ROM file. The phone was in RUU mode (from XTC2Clip) before flash command issued.
I have tried this with bootloader locked and unlocked with same result. Security is currently S-ON, but was S-OFF before brick.
Can anyone help resolve this situation?

Thank you Abdulakeem14 for your suggestion. I must admit that I had not tried flashing a stock RUU in HBOOT before, but I have now and the result is as shown in attachment. Any clues?

be sure to relock bootloader before flashing this zip via fastboot e.g
fastboot oem lock
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot oem rebootRUU
flash the zip above then reboot bootloader then you can try flashing your ruu firmware

Absolutely brilliant, its all working again now. Smile Thank you so much freshtyt for your help.

By the way for general information, I used Rufus.exe instead of Win32DiskImager to produce the bootable mmcblk0.img SD Card. it's a slightly simpler procedure.

Hi, can you upload mmcblk0 for HTC One M8 because I'm having issues of getting it from a working phone. Thank you

Hi,
The file size is 14.6 Gb. Where should I upload it to?

you can compress to 7z using 7zip (it should help to greatly reduce the size) and upload to any cloud storage e.g mega.nz e.t.c

The compressed file mmcblk0.7z for HTC One M8_UL is available at https://mega.nz/C!agdjyCJQ
