(11-02-2021, 08:26 PM)ludemon Absolutely brilliant, its all working again now. Smile Thank you so much freshtyt for your help.

By the way for general information, I used Rufus.exe instead of Win32DiskImager to produce the bootable mmcblk0.img SD Card. it's a slightly simpler procedure.

Hi, can you upload mmcblk0 for HTC One M8 because I'm having issues of getting it from a working phone. Thank you

Hi,
The file size is 14.6 Gb. Where should I upload it to?

The compressed file should be available here https://mega.nz/fm/TpkglALR

your link is still incomplete
in mega, when you click "get link", ensure to untick "export link decryption key separately"

Hello. Thank you for the fast answer.
I am however unable to download despite trying both links several times. All i get after tapping on download is an advertising page that does not have any more links for download.

That's odd, Ive just tried the link above on this page and it goes to Hovatek Download page then to adf.ly then Skip Ad then to the file on Mega.nz.
If you like I can upload to another site of your choice.

Hello. I was finally able to download the file. Followed the steps in the thread (https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-19721.html), but the phone doesn't boot, only lights orange briefly. Also, i ran into another problem: i tried to insert the sd card into the computer several times in order to reflash it, but windows crashes!! every time the moment i connect the sd card, it displays the blue screen and restarts. Any idea of what it could be? Before it did that, it would open numerous letters in file manager asking to format sd card.
Many thanks

Are you using a 64Gb Class 10 SD Card? Also I found that the phone didn't boot initially but did allow me access the bootloader and I was then able to flash a suitable stock ROM using Fastboot.
Yes Windows will assign a Disk letter to each of the many partitions on the SD Card. So if you want to start from scratch and change to a single formatted partition on the SD Card you can use something like DiskGenius or Minitool Partition Wizard.
