calculation of unlock for v4 algo devices isn't done by imei
you need to look for and flash a suitable usbloader or better still usblsafe, firmware and webui

After flashing the modem how do I then calculate the code?

if you flash usbloader then you don't need to calc code as it erases nvram and the network lock

or if you flash uldr_oem-nck then you can calc unlock as seen @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-25309.html (same method and tools / files work for e3372, you only need to search for them online)
