I was trying to backup the stock ROM of this tablet (Blackview Tab 8) however i must have incorrectly installed SPD drivers or somehow had uninstalled them, because Research Download said "failed user cancel", then boom when i tried to switch it on it was not turning on nor charging. I have been trying to charge it for about 4 days, no dice, it does not charge still, nor turning on.

This Tablet is sc9863a

I must have soft bricked it, because it gets detected by the PC as "SPRD U2S Diag (COM5)", but when i try to flash Stock ROM i downloaded it either says " failed user cancel" or gets stuck at "checking baudrate".

I don't know what to do, would opening it and test point it make a difference? Even if i open it intending to test point it, what pins would i have to click on the board? Because some guy on Youtube was able to flash his SPD phone after test pointing it, as it was facing "failed user cancel" . Since board are of different models so i think pins to be test pointed would be different.

I wondering if someone with the exact Tablet has ever faced a similar issue, or am i using the correct key combinations. Because i use vol - then insert the cable. Even if i change and use vol+ or both of them with and without power button, it doesn't flash on Research Download.

Interruptions like this can be fixed using https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-808.html . Happens a lot with inbuilt batteries.
Try flashing the firmware using Factory Download tool instead and ensure its the official (signed) pac file

Thanks for a reply, however my Tablet was not bricked, battery must have been extremely drained, i fixed it by opening the cover, disconnecting the battery then put on a charger while battery pin was disconnected. It shown a charging percentage, and i then switched it on and waited for the battery to reach 100%.

Before proceeding with opening a bootloader, is there any universal way for unisoc devices to port TWRP?

What do you mean by that? Do you mean s9863 Android 10 only has working TWRP Versions before TWRP 3.5_10 ? OR Android 10 is not working at all with TWRP Porter?

android 10 requires twrp v3.5 for full functionality anything below will be practically useless and the porting tool doesn't support android 10 yet
