Hello, for my phone "hacking" experiments I need to repair/change the serial number of NOKIA 5.1 TA-1075 with MTK chip
It is already possible to repair/change IMEI on this model by using MAUI META, but I can't find a solution for the serial number, do you guys know how to do it? thanks!

I tried with Maui META ver 9.1724.25, when the barcode dialog is open I write the new serial number and upload it to the phone, it says the operation was succesful but when I restart the phone the old serial is unchanged. Any advice here?

I also tried with the latest Modem META ver 10.2044.0.02 but it's missing the barcode option, I can reach a barcode line like in the picture below but I have no clue what to do there:

Did you factory reset after writing Serial number?

I did not factory reset after writing sn, I try and update

Update: I did factory reset, serial number has not changed.
Also: after the operation in the post above I tried changing and reading the barcode with Maui META ver 9.1724.25.00 and also Modem META ver 10.2044.0.02, both the software can read the NEW serial number I wrote but the phone itself under settings, about phone, model and hardware, serial number, still has the old serial also after factory reset!

Do serial numbers have a format they must follow? Why even though I wrote a new one the phone shows the old one, what am I doing wrong?
