Hi, hovatek
Please I need a tutorial of how to back up and flash stock rom on INFINIX note 8i
I tried using your tutorial of wwr and sp flash tool, but it's not working, (spft say mt67xx isn't supported) I came across another software called hydra mtk tools, but I need a tutorial on how to use it
Any help rendered would be appreciated.
Thank you.

the phone is stuck in flash mode, the spft error is listed @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-439.html ; download preloader @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-37457.html

i believe you are using mtk bypass as well, repeat the backup procedure using the preloader you downloaded, keep the phone connected to the PC then run mtk bypass
hold the boot key(s) + power button until mtk bypass catches the new mtk usb port connection then you can procedure with sp flash tool backup

Thanks... tho I already fixed it, I took it to an engineer who removed the battery and put it back and the phone came on.

good, the above reply was to get you to complete firmware backup
i reckon you should be able to power up normally using power button if backup complete without errors or using certain key combo if it fails

Are there other ways to backup firmware, this process is too risky for me. Thanks for all your help, I really appreciate you guys.
....also I was wondering if you guys could gift me one of those hovatek branded hoodies, I'm a big fan.
