if the phone could charge (show the charging sign) before you tried flashing the you should see a charging sign to signal that its back to life
re-install vcom drivers using https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-440.html , remoove the battery and slot back in then try flashing again

My hard bricked Infinix-X551 has been connected to wall charger since for 6days now, still there is no sign of life. No charging icon, shows "usb not recognised" when connected to pc.
Pls help. Am getting worried. Thanks

shouldnt take this long. have you tried flashing using another PC?

Format the phone using sp flash
Select format all/download on the sp flash and then plug your dead phone to your pc using usb cable

Yes. Iv tried using 4 different pc and different usb cables bt all show "usb not recognised". Sp tools wouldnt begin flashing. D phone remains fully dead.

The phone shows cusb not recognised" when connected to pc. Sp tools wouldnt respond when phone is connected. Iv installed and reinstalled d vcim drivers several times.

try @barnpat's format option and lets see how that goes

I just did what he asked me do. Sp tools didnt recognised the fone.
