Sorry for the late reply... Turned out my pc was virus infected. Did a format of the pc and was able to get the device flashed "sort of". Pls check the screenshots to see what I got in the end. Because after I got all done, I still saw error, no patch file found. Rebooted the device, got the same set up before flashing.

all good, just as i mentioned before if your backup doesn't have patch0 then it's fine

OK then but after I flashed the device, it rebooted with same setup. Ie the device did not look flashed and the calibrator still misbehaves. What could be the cause?

if you flashed with your backup then there's no problem
if you flashed with a new firmware then the emmc on the device is faulty

I flashed with my backup .
Is emmc responsible for touch calibration and if yes how can I fix it to restore normalcy to the touch screen ?

(20-07-2021, 09:38 AM)jdfm I flashed with my backup .

if the device had an issue before you made the backup, then flashing back the backup won't fix this
basically you're restoring the phone to how it was just before you made the backup

flash stock firmware and if the issue persists then consider checking the hardware

Is it possible to format+flash on miracle thunder like on spft? Cos I don't understand why after i get done notice, the device still boots up and it's still the same. It doesn't wipe the device and sees it back to factory state.

there's the option "format all (android)" in miracle thunder, tick it's checkbox

this is most likely faulty emmc

Any way to fix it? I'm afraid using the format option and then the firmware fails to load on the device that renders it useless eventually.
