(15-07-2021, 10:04 AM)X3nonSorry for the late reply... Turned out my pc was virus infected. Did a format of the pc and was able to get the device flashed "sort of". Pls check the screenshots to see what I got in the end. Because after I got all done, I still saw error, no patch file found. Rebooted the device, got the same set up before flashing.(14-07-2021, 07:27 PM)jdfm Says patch file doesn't exist. I've attached a screenshot. I used miracle thunder to backup and I am using same to restore the backup.
can't see your screenshot, you can use snipping tool in windows to capture screenshots

all good, just as i mentioned before if your backup doesn't have patch0 then it's fine

great, this indicates the backup is good
(19-07-2021, 11:20 AM)jdfm OK then but after I flashed the device, it rebooted with same setup. Ie the device did not look flashed and the calibrator still misbehaves. What could be the cause?

if you flashed with your backup then there's no problem
if you flashed with a new firmware then the emmc on the device is faulty
(20-07-2021, 09:38 AM)jdfm I flashed with my backup .
(20-07-2021, 09:38 AM)jdfm Is emmc responsible for touch calibration and if yes how can I fix it to restore normalcy to the touch screen ?
(23-07-2021, 06:34 AM)jdfm Is it possible to format+flash on miracle thunder like on spft?
(23-07-2021, 06:34 AM)jdfm Cos I don't understand why after i get done notice, the device still boots up and it's still the same. It doesn't wipe the device and sees it back to factory state.

there's the option "format all (android)" in miracle thunder, tick it's checkbox

this is most likely faulty emmc
