ensure the phone is switched off with battery in it then hold volume increase button before connecting to PC for flashing

That's exactly what I've been doing oh. As a matter of fact, that's the only way I can get my pc to recognise the phone.

re-install vcom drivers using https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-440.html then try again
consider using another USB cord and PC
