Bricked Tecno P5

#1

Hello. I've got a Tecno P5 phone on stock 4.2. Problem is the phone is bricked. First, it got stuck on a boot loop, displaying the Tecno logo. Now, it doesn't even get that far. It vibrates when the power button is pressed, but nothing comes on. After a while, it displays a white screen, then later goes off on its own.

I've got the necessarily files to flash it, but my pc is not recognising the phone. Whenever I attach the phone to the pc, it keeps connecting and disconnecting. The white screen comes on and goes off at will. I have mtk Droid tools but it doesn't recognise the phone. Same thing with SP flash tools.

Please help.

before the phone got bricked, what used to be the color of the first TECNO to appear on boot; white or blue?

BLUE.

I've got the pc to recognise the phone and I flashed a package of about 15mb (FlashTool_Tecno_P5.ipsw) which contains:
PRELOADED
MBR
EBR1
UBOOT
BOOTIMG
RECOVERY
SEC_RO
LOGO

ANDROID, CACHE and USRDATA are listed but not ticked (no path). I flashed this and got the ok sign. But there is no change at all. Plain white screen still comes on and nothing else.

What could be the problem? Did I flash a wrong package? If yes, could you help me with a link to the right package for the phone (Tecno P5, blue Tecno logo). Please help.

Thanks for all your efforts. Much appreciated. However, the situation remains the same. I've flashed the files you provided successfully (more than once), but the phone is still in the same state.

I even tried formatting the phone, but I get:
BROM ERROR : S_BROM_CMD_STARTCMD_FAIL (2005)
[BROM] Can not pass bootrom start command! Possibly target power up too early.
[HINT]:

That's the message. Any solution? Please?
