Mtk droid tools doesnt fully support MTK devices with newer chipset
if you are trying to dump your phone's firmware, then dump in scatter file format using the guide

if the phone you intend to take the backup from still has its system partition unmodified, then yes its stock rom
for restoring the backup; see
for the MT8125 chipset, not sure if the miracle box + loader version supports it but you can give it a shot [use 4th boot: Auto connect as chipset]

Hi, it doesn't let me click on the create the scatter file after clicking the block map on the MTK tool. Im using the latest tool, so I don't understand what the problem is. It doesn't need root permissions right?

where did you get the scatter file you are using from?
BTW you can dump your firmware in scatter format using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-12794.html
