[Please help] Tecno H3 Factory Reset (pattern lock)

not yet. copy the recovery.img from the ctr_recovery_h3 folder (tecno h3 patch) into the MTK backup folder to replace the recovery.img in the MTK backup folder.

next, flash all the files in the MTK folder using SP flash tool @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-159.html .

if you get the PMT error then format the phone in sp flash tool first before flashing.

the phone will still be stuck at logo but thats not a problem
try booting into recovery mode and let me know if it can enter carliv touch recovery mode.

You're right, the phone's stuck at the Tecno logo. I can boot into carliv recovery.

now, copy the stock_mod_tecno_h3 zip file (which is inside the patch folder) into your sd card and flash it to the phone in recovery mode.
if its still stuck at logo then first format system under mounts and storage then reflash.
the phone should now boot normally but will Null IMEI.
let me know when you get to that stage so we proceed with the final step

Thanks Hovatek! My phone is back to life and I have fixed the IMEI and WiFi issue. I'm good now. 😀
