Thanks. I now have a CWM for my phone. And now am finding it difficult to format my fone it doesnt show a yes command from the recovery

I think i've bombarded it with too many apps nd stuffs so its now giving me headaches like Force stopping, slow booting. The phone is jas too slow generally so I think starting afresh will do justice to everything

you can do a factory reset under Settings instead of recovery mode

For a force close you can try fix permissions either from recovery or using Rom toolbox
