[Please help] Request: Tecno R7 Unable To Send Messages

I recently discovered that my Tecno R7 is unable to send message anymore. I've checked the Message Service Centre and I've even tested my SIMs in my other phone which worked perfectly. What could be the problem?

have you checked your date and time settings?
the fastest fix would be to just flash system.img using Sp flash tool or restore a previously made CWM backup

does Whatsapp work fine on the phone?
