i bricked my htc one x now it cant boot past the htc logo.

that was the exact step i followed the last time you told me to install adb and fastboot drivers. and i successfully installed it.

means you'll need to install adb using a different method
use the SDK method @ http://www.howtogeek.com/125769/how-to-i...e-utility/
BTW, hope you put the phone in sideload mode

we have just two methods

ADB: sideload a ROM
Fastboot: Flash the images or a compatible RUU

your HTC doesnt seems to accept all RUUs we've used so far despite a universal CID and S-Off. for the RUU, its possible it requires a higher version.
let me see a fresh screenshot of fastboot getvar all . Will need to search harder for an RUU that will work
