[Tutorial] How to use USB Deview

USB Deview is used to uninstall drivers. Uninstalling drivers comes in handy when you wish to prevent / resolve a driver clash and remove incompatible / corrupted drivers.

Procedure

* Download USB Deview ( 32 bit here : 64 bit here )
* Run USB Deview as Administrator

* Scroll to the driver you wish to uninstall

* Right-click the driver and select Uninstall Selected Devices

* Click Yes to confirm

vcom driver is the name of the driver required by a PC for communicating with mtk devices

I have a lot of drivers on the when usbdeview was run as admin, how do I know which one to uninstall?

What's your phone's chipset?

Hi my chipset is Mediatek MT6752 - i too am not sure what to uninstall

It's quite rare from my experience but the device will often not get detected despite you having installed necessary drivers
