using the MTK backup, follow the guide @ https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-1138.html
the phone should now be stuck at logo
let me know when you get to this stage so we proceed with using the patch

now, you use the patch.
in the patch folder, you'l find a recovery.img in the ctr_recovery_h3 folder. flash that recovery image to the phone using SP flash tool. the phone should now be able t boot into carliv touch recovery mode.
